Lock your vehicle doors!

The most common form of theft comes from car burglaries where the vehicle is left unlocked. Unlocked vehicles create crimes of opportunity. Additionally, the most common cause of stolen firearms is, you guessed it, leaving firearms in unlocked vehicles. Simple tip: don’t leave things of value in your automobile and always lock your car. Comfort and a false sense of security can leave you vulnerable. Bring your valued items inside and lock those doors!  If a firearm is stolen form your vehicle, call the police immediately and report the stolen firearm, so that your firearm and serial number can be on file in case the firearm is used in a crime. Lock those doors!
